- Pay with cash. It is the safest method of payment. Checks and money orders can be faked.
- Do not wire money. If you are asked to do so, assume it is a scam.
- Never give your financial information to anyone. This includes credit card numbers, bank account numbers, and social security numbers.
- Don’t engage in escrow or shipping services. These may be fraudulent.
